Last month, the Producers Guild of America announced their documentary and television nominees for the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards. Today, they revealed the remainder of the nominees for Theatrical Motion Picture, Animated Theatrical Motion Picture and Long-Form Television.
The ten nominated feature films are The Artist, Bridesmaids, The Descendants, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Help, Hugo, The Ides of March, Midnight in Paris, Moneyball and War Horse. Notable omissions included Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Drive and The Tree of Life.
The Animated Motion Picture nominees were The Adventures of Tintin, Cars 2, Kung Fu Panda 2, Puss In Boots and Rango.
The previously announced recipient of the Stanley Kramer Award, which honours a motion picture, producer or other individual, whose achievement or contribution illuminates provocative social issues, will be Angelina Jolie's debut film In The Land of Blood and Honey.
Additional special awards will be given to Steven Spielberg (David O. Selznick Achievement Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures), Leslie Moonves (Milestone Award), Don Mischer (Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television) and Stan Lee (Vanguard Award).
Last year, the Producers Guild Awards winners for film were The King's Speech, Toy Story 3 and Waiting for 'Superman'.
The 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards ceremony will take place on January 21, 2012 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
