5th anniversary of Ciné-bazar

The 5th anniversary of MEDIAFILM.ca’s Ciné-bazar
The film industry gathered for the event

Montreal – A record number of major players of Quebec film industry will participate to the 5th edition of Ciné-bazar on Saturday, February 4 in the Community Hall of Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka Church, on the Plateau Mont-Royal.

New exhibitors
One of the most popular events of the cultural winter season, the great film fair organized by the press agency MEDIAFILM.ca is proud to welcome new exhibitors: Cinéma Beaubien, Cinéma Excentris, Cinéma du Parc, Festival International du Film pour Enfants de Montréal (FIFEM), Productions Réalisations Indépendantes de Montréal (PRIM), Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM), Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois (RVCQ) and Séquences.

Following the example of faithful Ciné-Bazar’s exhibitors (24 images, Ciné-Bulles, Cinémathèque québécoise, FunFilm Distribution, Les Films du 3 mars, K-Films Amérique, Montreal Stop Motion Film Festival, Posteropolis, SPASM Festival, Vidéo Select), these organizations will be meeting over 2000 film enthusiasts. Some will sell fidelity passes, others will sell inventory (DVDs, magazines, posters, etc.) at bargain prices. Many of them will have exclusive offers and special draws for Ciné-bazar’s visitors.

What else can we find at Ciné-bazar?
New and used DVDs by the thousands, VHS tapes of rare films, vintage and new posters, books and magazines in endless supply, among others. For example? Autographed photos of Brigitte Bardot, Paul Newman, Joan Crawford and many others, projectors and reels of all sizes (8, 16, 35mm), movie board games, original classics posters such as The Barefoot Contessaand Bullitt, and even earrings made from film prints.

Needless to say, we can do anything with film. At Ciné-bazar, we live only for it. But it only lasts one day:
