They are asking for films of up to 4 minutes in length with an element of anything Korean. There is no cost to enter and filmmakers may send in up to three submissions.
The selected videos will screen at 2012 Arirang Korea Smartphone Film Festival on May 11 at Innis Town Hall and Arirang Korea TV will air the selected videos at a later date on OMNI TV. Prizes for the top entries include a cash prize of $1,500, a Samsung Galaxy Tab computer tablet, a Pico Dolly System, and 2012 Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival prize packages including festival passes, t-shirt and DVDs.
Deadline for entry is Friday, April 13, 2012. The festival will notify selected filmmakers by April 30, 2012.
The 1st Arirang Korea Smartphone Film Festival takes place in Toronto on May 11, 2012 at Innis Town Hall, 2 Sussex Avenue.
