IN STUDIO will be hosted by filmmaker Don McKellar (Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays and Blindness) who will interview Genie32 Achievement in Direction contenders: David Cronenberg (A Dangerous Method), Philippe Falardeau (Monsieur Lazhar), Larysa Kondracki (The Whistleblower) and Jean-Marc Vallée (Café de Flore).It will be filmed before a live audience at TIFF Bell Lightbox, for broadcast at a later date on Astral's The Movie Network and Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central.
This event is free for TIFF Members, members of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, and all Genie32 nominees. To reserve tickets, please contact the Gupta Box Office in person or by phone (416.599.TIFF or toll-free at 1.888.599.8433).
It has been brought to our attention that incorrect information about In Conversation With... Genie Nominees appears on the ticket. The event will take place on Wednesday March 7th at 6:30pm, not 7:00pm. We apologize for the error and any inconvenience.
