The 2012 JUNO nominees for Music DVD of the Year will be highlighted with screenings and interviews with the filmmakers. Some of the featured musicians will be in attendance as well. The evening will be hosted by Matt Wells of MuchMore.
Part of the proceeds from the night will support CARAS' music education charity MusiCounts.
The JUNOS at TIFF: Canadian Music on Film takes place at 7pm tonight at TIFF Bell Lightbox, 350 King Street West.

Matt Wells of MuchMore hosts an onstage event with the 2012 JUNO nominees for Music DVD of the Year.
TIFF reunites with the JUNO Awards for a special showcase of the 2012 JUNO nominees for Music DVD of the Year, hosted by Matt Wells of MuchMore. Featuring clips from the nominated films and conversations with some of the directors and artists, this programme shines a light on the creative connections between music and film.
Confirmed participants to date include: Elinor Svoboda (Tegan and Sara: Get Along), Jannie McInnes (Feist: Look at What the Light Did Now), Peter Katz, Tim Martin (Peter Katz: Live at the Music Gallery), Sam Dunn (Rush: Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland), Scot McFayden (Rush: Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland), and Tony Girardin (David Francey: Burning Bright).
A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will support MusiCounts, Canada's music education charity associated with CARAS, which helps to keep music alive in schools across the country.
