2012 Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards – winners
The 9th Annual Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards took place Saturday night at the Great Hall at Laurentian University, Sudbury. They were hosted by the non-profit organization Music and Film in Motion (MFM) whose mandate is to foster and promote the development of the music and film industries in Northern Ontario.
Heather K. Dahlstrom's Dave vs. Death took the Film of the Year category. David Lickley and Rob Gagne's Wildfires! A 4D Firefighting Adventure captured both prizes for which it was nominated, winning Director of the Year and Editor of the Year.
The Cinematographer award went to Dave Clement and Lee Chambers took the Screenwriter prize for Hugh Jackman Saves The World.
Cindy Doire captured Album Of The Year by a Solo Artist for Sticks and Mud ). Kalle Mattson picked up both Album Of The Year by a Duo or Group and SOCAN Songwriter Of The Year.
