95% of India's retail industry is run by small entrepreneurs.
From street corners to bazaars, in small stores and narrow lanes, the sounds of street callers are matched only by the colors of their merchandize.
Every sale is fortified by history, rhythm and tradition. But the traditional landscape is in a state of flux. The affluent population in India has created a demand for superstores and malls. Malls are sprouting up like mushrooms between huts and tenements forcing small store-owners to take to the streets to fight for survival. In India's race to modernization who will get the best bargain?

In the crowded and chaotic city of Dhaka, some men have built their lives by abandoning their families in the village. A dubious school vanwala named Babu has made it his life mission to find these runaways and force them to face their past. But he gets more than he gambled for when he captures a corrupt politician named Akbar and forces him to retrace the winding and dark path that led him there. Convinced an evil spirit possess him, Babu takes Akbar on a wild journey to cure him of his evil deeds, and perhaps even offer a path to salvation. But such a man is not easily absolved. As the sun sets, their pursuers follow close behind, a reminder of what Akbar has to lose...the throne.
