BRIT Awards 2013 – nominations
The 33rd Annual BRIT Awards announced this year's nominations for the best in the British recording industry.
Emeli Sandé leads the field with four nominations including two for Single of the Year (‘Next To Me’ and ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’) as well as British Female Solo Artist and British Album of the Year (‘Our Version Of Events’).
Tied with three nominations each are British folk band Mumford and Sons and Mercury prize winners Alt-J.
Previously, it was announced that the Critics' Choice Award will go to singer-songwriter Tom Odell.
The BRIT Awards 2013 take place on Wednesday, February 20. James Corden will host and featured performers will include Muse, Williams, Sandé, Ben Howard, Mumford and Sons, and One Direction.
