Call for submssions: CFC Actors Conservatory

The Canadian Film Centre in Toronto has opened the nomination process for its Actors Conservatory. Applicants must first be nominated by an agent, casting director, director, producer, artistic director, writer/playwright, or broadcast or production executive. The nominator must email the contact information of the actor they are nominating to actors@cfccreates.com. Then the CFC will follow-up with the actor via email and forward the online application instructions.

Over the course of six months, the Actors Conservatory engages actors in the on-screen storytelling and film/TV making process and increases their opportunities to forge relationships both on and off screen. The program provides them with a forum to strengthen their skills, work with some of the world’s leading practitioners, and significantly workshop their craft on screen.

Application Deadline: May 3, 2013 at 5pm EST

Program Tuition: There is no tuition for the 2013 session
Program Dates: July 29, 2013 – February 14, 2014
