On Thursday night, York University is presenting a free panel on the Art of Adaptation, hosted by Howard Wiseman with four award-winning writers. The panel will take place at TIFF Bell Lightbox. RSVPs are required as they only have space for the first 50 registrants.

The Art Of Adaptation: From Faithful to Ruthless features a panel discussion with award-winning screenwriters and creators on the art of adapting a range of properties, from theatre to comics to film.
Featured panelists:
- Norman Snider, journalist, author, screenwriter (Dead Ringers, Casino Jack), screenwriter-in-residence, Innis College, University of Toronto;
- Matt Johnson, writer/creator/director (Nirvana The Band The Show, The Dirties);
- Colleen Wagner, playwright, screenwriter, author (The Monument; The Living), associate professor of screenwriting, Department of Film, York University;
- Ramon Perez, cartoonist (A Tale of Sand).
