Submissions for the 39th annual Toronto International Film Festival, running from September 4-14, 2014, are now open.
In order to submit your film, you must register via Withoutabox.com. The festival accepts Canadian works and international submissions including (for the first time) international short films. Short films are considered to be those with a running time of 49 minutes or less, while anything 50 minutes or more is categorized as feature-length.
The deadline for submissions is May 2, 2014. There is, however, a late deadline of May 30, 2014 at a higher submission fee.
Submissions fees are as follows:
Canadian Shorts (49 minutes or less) – early deadline: $25 / late deadline: $50
Canadian Features (50 minutes or longer) – early deadline: $100 / late deadline: $150
International Shorts (49 minutes or less) – early deadline: $50 / late deadline: $80
International Features (50 minutes or longer) – early deadline $80 / late deadline $100
